Goddess Provisions Review

Trying to find the right subscription box can be so very overwhelming, especially when you’re trying to find boxes for more obscure interests. There’s seemingly a box for everything, but trying all of them can be time consuming and it can get expensive. And it’s hard when you don’t know which ones are actually going to be worth the money.

Id been wanting to try a subscription box for a long time, but I couldn’t decide on which one. By the time I wanted to try one, I had decided to go cruelty free, which ruled out a few of the more common ones. And I actually didn’t want to try a makeup one, as I already have a bunch of makeup. Then I came across Goddess Provisions.

Goddess Provisions is a monthly box full of crystals, self care products, accessories, food, and more. The focus is on spirituality, helping provide tools for a . Many of the beauty and self care products included are organic or all-natural, and come from independent businesses. Every box comes with a monthly crystal, coupon codes, a mantra for the month, and is centered around a particular theme!

If you sign up for the monthly plan it is $33 a month, which isn’t inexpensive, but given what is included I feel it is well worth the price. To get an idea of cost versus what you’re getting, I’ve included the total value of the items in each box pictured. As you can see, the value is at least twice the cost. Now for the three things I love most about this subscription box.

June 2018 Sacred Womb Wisdom Box, worth $116

It’s all cruelty free, and vegan.

A while ago, I posted about transitioning to a cruelty free lifestyle, and that was an important part of trying to find a subscription box that suited my needs. I’ve since found a bunch of wonderful CF boxes that are definitely on my radar. But I was very excited to find such a unique company that also catered to cruelty free and vegan lifestyles. And it’s not just Goddess Provisions that selects CF and vegan products from these companies, the participating companies also advocate themselves.

This is an increasingly popular lifestyle for many people, and I would recommend this to anyone who wants to support cruelty free and vegan companies. It’s incredible to find so many companies and products that emphasize things that I feel are important, especially when those companies are also spiritually centered. This has also made finding replacement products for some things really easy!

It supports independent brands.

Something I want to start doing is bringing more attention to independent, smaller companies. I still love big makeup and skincare brands, but I found myself wanting to find unique, small businesses to support. To paraphrase, when you buy from a small business, you aren’t just paying a corporation. You’re helping support a family, individuals, in very meaningful, direct ways. And these smaller companies are often advocates and activists in their own rights, and supporting their business supports particular causes.

Goddess Provisions has exposed me to so many companies that I wouldn’t have found otherwise. Services, products, ideas that are special, labors of love. It’s a privilege to be able to support these companies in this way.

August 2018 Heart Chakra Box, worth $89

It’s helped expand my spiritual practice.

I have mentioned this before in posts such as my tarot for self-care and my filofax tour, but I’m a practicing pagan witch. And the beauty of paganism and spirituality is that there’s so much to learn and so many ways to practice. There’s always something else to try. There are so many things you can find to resonate with yourself.

Through Goddess Provisions, I’ve gotten crystals I wouldn’t have thought to buy, oracle decks, tarot decks, a book, digital resources, incense, ritual tools. Things I wouldn’t have ever looked at, simply because I thought they wouldn’t be for me. But this gave me the opportunity to try new things because it was finally in my hands. I didn’t have to actively remind myself, “Gotta get bath oil… oh maybe I need to try and figure out how to use a crystal grid… what is a yoni steam?” Not that that’s bad, but this is incredibly convenient and I’ve always found the offerings to be very timely.

For people new to spirituality, people who are passionate about independent, small businesses, those who want to support cruelty free and vegan companies, this is definitely something I would wholeheartedly recommend.

If you’re interested in trying Goddess Provisions, you can sign up through my referral code here. I don’t make a commission off it, but I would receive a free box for every 5 people that sign up and it doesn’t cost you extra.
